Numberplate off 25056 showing it to be a Class 25-1 vacuum braked locomotive. This variant utilised GEC Series 1 equipment and whilst noticeably different from the 25-0 sub class it was less so from the varients that followed. The Thornably (TE) shed code sticker was not placed there by British Rail and at this time it was allocated to Carlisle Kingmoor. |
