Back in the late 70's I visited Shotton on a Summer Saturday and spent over an hour there photographing whatever went by. Now in the 80's I returned with a plus one connection to see if I could make the 25 coming in from Bangor. As it turned out the connection was easily made as the Rat was running late. The more I look at this picture the more I remember those frantic or frenetic leaps I made on the North Wales coast chasing 'new engine' 25s and 40s, without doubt the greatest of great times as far as I am concerned.
