25141 heads a parcels train towards Patricroft.  The ballast where I was standing once led to the steam locomotive shed of the same name. 

I had gone there to catch the rumoured class 25 on the 11.03 Bangor - Manchester (believed to be 25220 on what proved to be its last passenger train working), only to find that it runs non-stop from Warrington!
