Llandudno Trains

1D30, the Nottingham – Llandudno and its return 1D17 rightly count amongst the most famous of Class 25 hauled passenger trains of the 70s and early 80s.  The train was booked a single loco and quite frequently reengined at Derby on either the outward, return leg or sometimes both.  Unfortunately that was not always recorded as frustrated bashers would turn away in disgust when their prize engine failed to run round at Derby and occassionally the substitute loco for the first/last sixteen miles went unrecorded. This train ceased to be Class 25 hauled after 1981 and details of the locos that worked this train from that date onwards can be found on the Timewarp website.
